Abstract
Angular pregnancy is an implantation of embryo in the uterine angle, medial to the uterotubal junction. It may lead to several complications, both during pregnancy (persisting uterine pain and bleeding, spontaneous abortion, ruptured uterus) and
in
the
puerperium (retained placenta).
Its differential diagnosis from cornual pregnancy is often confused.
Despite an abundant, continuing literature on the subject of ectopic gestation, there has been little discussion concerning angular pregnancy.
We experienced a case of ruptured angular pregnancy at 26th gestational week and so we present it with a brief review of literature.
